FTO - Fluorine - doped tin dioxide (SnO₂:F). SnO₂ is a wide - band gap oxide semiconductor transparent to visible light, with a band gap width of 3.7 - 4.0eV and a regular tetrahedral rutile structure. After doping with fluorine, the SnO₂ thin film has advantages such as good visible light transmittance, large ultraviolet absorption coefficient, low resistivity, stable chemical properties, and strong acid - base resistance at room temperature.
